As he embarked through his extremely multidisciplinary adolescent life, Shreyas learned to use his eclectic background to produce and write music in a multitude of genres, while still having a distinct style informed by diverse culture. Unique scales from India and western jazz, and an emphasis on global synthesis continues to drive his creative and musical philosophy to this day.
After experience as an audio engineer, producer, and creative at Karma Sound Studios in Thailand, and experience as a recording engineer at Resound India, Shreyas now works with a multitude of clients on every genre under the sun, from film score to jazz and everything in between. His growing discography speaks for itself, which includes the likes of Prabh Deep, Sean Roldan, Ranjini Gayathri, and emerging acts from the UK and west coast. He also has multiple solo acts in the genres of Piano, LoFi, Jazz, and R&B music under various monikers.
Mentored further by professionals such as Chris Craker [Interstellar Soundtrack], Shreyas has the passion to learn and is cited by his collaborators to be a trustworthy, comforting, and competent presence in the studio. He is keen to learn and grow more by immersing with top talents from around the world and in every genre.
He primarily focuses on songwriting, arrangement, production, and Studio performance (KEYS + Sax).
Nephew of India’s Top Sound Artist and western grown, Shreyas grew up in a world of global sounds.
Initially learning music surrounded by the sounds of classical India, pristinely captured by his uncle Sai Shravanam [Life of Pi Soundtrack] at Resound India studio in Chennai, Shreyas’s musical life started far before his formal training. Into his childhood, he took on conquering classical piano and jazz saxophone, ultimately learning both disciplines and being recognized as a top talent by his musical institutions.
With an education in engineering, Shreyas also professionally involves himself in research and technical innovation relating to sound technology and experiences. He aims to explore the science of sound and the art-worthiness of science. Learn more soon.
